I always feel it’s best to get the most out of your workouts and be able to assess and analyse how well you perform on the bike.

One way of analysing your performance is with the use of a heart rate monitor.

You see by connecting up a heart rate monitor you’re going to be able to:

  • Measure your BPM (Beats Per Minute)
  • Measure what training zones your in
  • Measure your Max Heart Rate
  • Measure your calories burned

A heart rate monitor is an excellent way of letting you see how your cardiovascular system is performing so it’s something I do highly recommend you get if you’re looking to take your indoor cycling to the next level.

Now there is 3 heart rate monitors I do recommend myself.

These are all chest heart monitors.

I think these are the best as a chest heart rate monitor will provide incredibly accurate measurements and results of your heart rate.
