Having a power meter can be a great utility to have that will add that extra dimension to your indoor cycling.

A power meter will allow you to see specific metrics such as your:

  • Watts / Power Output
  • Cadence
  • Speed

What’s great then is you can connect these up to certain indoor cycling apps such as:

  • Zwift
  • Bkool
  • Rouvy
  • Spinning Digital +
  • and much more!

These power meters I’ll be discussing will all be able to connect onto a standard indoor bike.

Favero Assioma

Key Features

  • IAV technology
  • Extremely accurate at +/- 1.0%
  • Weighs just 305g
  • Bluetooth & ANT+ Connectivity

These are the current power meter pedals I am using.

These are super easy to install onto my indoor bike. They have a universal fit so should fit any indoor bike.

They are clipless pedals which can connect onto any 3-bolt style cycling shoes.

They are super accurate in reading my watts, cadence and speed and use their ahead-of-time IAV technology to get these complete accurate results.

Garmin Vector 3S

  • Accuracy: +/- 1.0%
  • Weighs 324g
  • Bluetooth & ANT+ Connectivity
  • Battery life up to 120 hours

The Garmin Vector 3s is another great set of power meter pedals that are easy to connect up to your indoor bike.

These also have an excellent accuracy between +/-1.0% which enables you to see your actual real-time performance on the bike and how well you are doing.

Look SRM Exakt

Look SRM Exakt Power Pedals

Key Features

  • Bluetooth & ANT+ Connectivity
  • Weighs 310g
  • Battery life of 100 hours
  • Carbon body frame

The Look SRM Exakt power meter pedals are the 3rd and final on the list that I recommend.

Once again, just like the others discussed these are easy to install onto your bikes crank arm.

These will allow to pull in all of your key cycling metrics to help you get the most out of your training.
